Measurement taking guide

It is very important to take measurements correctly, taking into account all recommendations, without adding or subtracting centimeters. The quality of the finished product’s fit will depend on how accurately the required measurements were taken

1. Height

Taken in a gymnast standing on flat feet from head to the floor.

2 Torso

Vertical circular body circumference. Lead the measuring tape from the middle point of the shoulder along the body, pass it unelder the groine area and lift it along the back back to the middle point of the shoulder

3 Chest circumference

The measurement is taken at the level of the armpits, horizontally, without any looseness. It is advisable that the gymnast wears the bodysuit that she usually wears under her leotard

4 Waist

It is measured around the waistline without any looseness. For gymnasts up to 130 cm tall, it is important that the girl stands with her stomach pulled in, and not relaxed to avoid measurement errors.

5 Hips

To take accurate hip measurements measure the circumfirence horizontally around the hips at the level of the most prominent points of the buttocks without any looseness

Neck circumference is measured around the neck at the narrowest point without any looseness

7 Back length to waist

Be sure to the rope/elastic around the waist. Measure the length along the spine from the seventh cervical vertebra to the tape at the waist

The sleeve length is measured from the protruding tassel on the shoulder along the outer side of the arm to the wrist. When measuring the sleeve, there is no need to bend the elbow.

10 The shoulder circumference

The shoulder circumference is measured around the arm at the level of the biceps

11 Wrist circumference

Wrist circumference is measured around the arm at the narrowest point of the wrist

12 Measured vertically

Measured vertically from the waist band to the top point of the groin fold with an offset of 3-5 cm towards the side seam

Measured from the waistline to the desirable bottom of the skirt

14 Skirt length back
